You can start by downloading the helpful KIND30 Brand Guidelines. Then take a look below and download plans and materials that might work for your KIND Workplace, KIND School, KIND Faith Community and KIND Individuals or Small Groups.

A KIND30 Workplace

The idea of being kind at work is not a new one. But over the past few years, studies on corporate culture have proven that a KIND workplace is a more connected workplace. And that when employees feel connected with one another, there is a 12-fold increase in the success factor of their company. On top of that, employees who feel strong connections at work are 11 times more likely to stay on board for at least another full year and three times more likely to stay three more years.

A culture of kindness at work is also proven to enhance employee well-being, boosting motivation and productivity. Further, a workplace that intentionally practices kindness helps to reduce conflict. Employees who may clash in work styles find common ground in small acts of kindness.

And don’t forget the reputational boost. Companies that are known for their kindness attract top talent and strengthen partnership bonds with their clients, partners and vendors.

A KIND30 Faith Community

The wisdom embodied in the Golden Rule is a unifying theme among all faiths. Every faith tradition offers up teachings about how important it is to treat one another the way we ourselves wish to be treated. In a community of faith, an active and collective focus on kindness builds a sense of belonging and strengthens bonds. In addition, the regular practice of kindness helps individuals develop virtues such as patience, humility, selflessness and integrity.

Very often, faith communities provide support to those in need, whether through charity, counseling, hands-on caregiving or acts of service. A focus on kindness ensures that this support is given with compassion, empathy and respect. Acts of kindness also improve mental and emotional well-being for both the giver and the recipient. In a place of faith, this heightened well-being contributes long-term to a more supportive and uplifting environment for everyone.

A KIND30 Individual or Small Group:

A kind individual can be the single catalyst that can change a community, an organization or even the world. Or maybe you’ll just enjoy the change in yourself. And the KIND30 concept is so easy, you can do it all by yourself —your way and on your own schedule. All you need to do is download the participation form below and maybe a calendar, and then you’re ready. Oh, and find at least an extra 30 seconds each day to share a small act of kindness. We hope you’ll share your kindnesses with us, and share what you’ve gotten from the experience on your social platforms.

While you can be successful alone, It’s part of our vision that you might be willing to share your enthusiasm with others, and encourage them to join KIND30 as well. If you’re part of a Bridge Club, Neighborhood Association, Book Club, Sorority, Fraternity, Scout Troop or any kind of small group, you can join forces to do KIND30 together as a team.

No matter how you execute the KIND30, know that your kindness matters. YOU are the change we wish to see in the world. Thank you for your kindnesses!

A KIND30 School:

A culture of kindness in schools contributes to a healthier, more productive and harmonious educational environment, benefiting both students and educators. Kind schools create a positive learning atmosphere and combat bullying by promoting a culture of understanding among students.

We all know that anxiety among children and youth is at an all-time high, but a classroom that embraces small acts of kindness can improve student mental health and emotional well-being. Kindness encourages the development of essential social skills like empathy, communication and cooperation.

We’re even thinking that there’s a connection between a kind classroom and academic success, because we know that when students feel emotionally secure, they are more likely to ask questions and take risks with intellectual pursuits. Kindness even improves the student-teacher relationship. When teachers model kindness, it strengthens the bond they have with their students.
